Siblings, do you have workers, members or friends who are impacted by the uncertainty surrounding the nation’s immigration policy? Are you receiving calls asking for advice on what to do next or where to go to get answers to questions? Well the North Bay and Napa Solano Central Labor Councils have joined forces again to host the California Labor Federations Immigrant Workers Rights and defense training! Join experts in the field to learn what rights are in place, what they expect and how we can best position our organizations to protect immigrant workers moving forward.

This training is intended for Labor, Business and Community Leaders who will be on the front line whenever the new administrations policies come out. We hope to not only educate attendees but also form a network to be able to share advice, provide a site where people can go to get consistent answers and messaging and also a vehicle for mobilizing for action against attacks on our members and allies.

I have attached the new flyer for the event in Spanish and hope that you will distribute to your members and constituents. Uncertainty and mixed messages always impede progress when responding to attacks on our liberties. So lets be positive change agents and form a coalition to be ready to address changes with a plan, facts and a network to mobilize when the time comes!

Please RSVP soon as space is limited.
